Prozak & Tonic

While going through some of my files, I came across photos from the Modified Magazine shoot of my old FC RX-7.

Some of the best shots weren’t used for the spread… I wonder what goes on in the minds of the layout artists. They didn’t even give Tracy his photo credits.

Shots turned out well for being so overcast but unfortunately direct setting or rising sun is required to get the full depth of the Lexus Tiger Eye Mica.

Korean Embassy Visit

Was back at the Korean Embassy in Oslo to get them trained on using the CMS to manage their site.

Yes, WordPress is more designed for blogging but what an easy CMS to implement for basic sites and if you are clever enough, you can really expand to be very robust.

Visit the site at norsk-koreansk.no.

Big ERP is Eating Your Luggage

A pretty good use of the luggage carousel at O’Hare’s terminal 2.

I remember once at O’Hare when the belt stopped and not all the luggage was collected or even had come out from behind the wall. Took about 20 minutes for them to get it started again.

Why 20 minutes? I guess they needed to get a specific person to turn the belt on again. Another example of why things need to change in the country… (not going to get political here).

ORD Terminal 1

Since O’Hare is United’s home they get a lot of priority, even Terminal 1.

Not the best looking or worst looking but inside, it is old and the ceiling tiles are pretty nasty with water damage. I really hope they put some effort into cleaning it up.

The seating is old and there is never enough space. Maybe that was a factor as to why the city didn’t get the Olympics.

O'Hare

I realized I have never really posted much about my local airport so here goes.

O’Hare’s airport code is ORD but it never made too much sense to me as to why, although I never really thought about it.

So ORD means Orchard Place Airport/Douglas Field.

Now you know too.
